Summer Vacation Camp
 
Dates:
 
Heights:  June 1st through August 13th.
Rio Rancho:  May 26th through August 16th.
 
Lunch: 
 
Heights:  Lunches will be provided from June 7th through August 6th.  Parents please provide lunch
before June 7th and after August 6th.

Cost:  ($30 Membership fee per child per year is required)
 
$50 per week for 1 child
$90 per week for 2 children
$120 per week for 3 children
($30 per week for each additional child)

Sandia Football Camp:  $20 per player, ages 7-13 boys and girls, July 24th, registration limited to first 15 signups, Heights club only.
 
This is a 1-day fundamental skills camp at Sandia High School from 8 am to 2:15 pm, lunch and transportation will be provided.  Fundamental skills include:  stretching/warm-up, offensive skills, defensive skills, and non-contact team competitions.  Older players will be timed in a 40 yard dash and in a 7 on 7 passing event.  Younger players will compete in a football agility competition.  For transportation, children must be at the club by 7:30 am.  Your child will receive a T-shirt.  Payment is due by July 17th, checks should be made payable to Boys & Girls Clubs.  Late payments will be accepted through July 19th $25 cash only.  Contact Thomas Rodriguez, Asst. NASA Space Science Camp:  Free, grades 5 through 9, July 20th Heights club, July 21st Rio Rancho club, registration is limited to the first 60 students at each club.  New memberships welcome!
 
This is a multi-week science program designed to be "hands-on" with many fun but safe experiments designed to teach about space science and technology as well as state science standards.  This program will be run at the clubs and includes field trips and Skyping with NASA scientists to design an experiment that may be one of 20 launched on a sounding rocket from the Space Port New Mexico.  For more information, please see our News & Events page, or contact Juanita Torrez at 881-0777 or email jtorrez@bg-heights.org.
